LATE K.KRISHNASWAMY MUDIRAJ

A freedom fighter,crusader of down trodden,social worker, an embodiment of secularism an intellectual an historian a writer a journalist, former mayor of Hyderabad was born on janmashtami day at jalma of Aurangabad district in a middle class family, in 1893.

Studied at chadhar ghat and Nizam college, also studied printing and publishing technology at Bombay, including typewriting and shorthand. He served as private secretary to the prime minister of Hyderabad state maharaja sir kishan Prasad bahadur.

He subsequently joined in government service at accountant general office. Served only for about 9 years and jumped into the social service. He first started his social service joining in health teams in 1917 when influenza spread like fire. then organised social service conference, jeeva raksha pracharaka samithi’s, removal of untouchability programmes,Hyderabad health league, founder captain of Andhra volunteer core arp volunteers divisional organizer-communal harmoney bodies etc.
